It has been so long since my last post. I blame this in part on the fact that we lost our camera so I wasn't able to post photos (weak excuse in the age of I-phone cameras but I haven't yet figured out how to uploaded the good photos/videos from my phone to the blog)! In any case, I am feeling grateful and thankful for such a wonderful family. Here are three of my favorite videos of the girls. In the first one, Jenny is teaching Ava how to have "attitude". In the second one, the girls are with Pato when he came over for brunch. The final one was when I took the girls sledding on one of our many snow days this winter.
The girls are so amazing and they make me laugh every day.
We had a nice family celebration of Ava's 2nd birthday this week. Rachel took the first two photos of Ava with her crazy hair and her froggy doll. The next one is of Ava in her GW cheerleader outfit that she wears to Pato's basketball games. The others are of Ava enjoying her presents and b-day challah. It was such a nice little celebration. Ava seemed to enjoy it.
Ava, Jenny, and I were playing with a shower cap one morning and Jenny ended up taking some funny photos of me and Ava looking pretty silly. So much for any Presidential aspirations that either of us may have. :)
Here are some cute ones of the girls dressed up first in their Halloween PJs and then in their costumes. Jenny was a "pink lady" (from the musical "Grease") and Ava was also a similar costume. I think they had a good time and we certainly had fun with them! Ava was too tired to go trick or treating with me but Jenny and I went out and had a good time.
Jenny and Ava had a great time decorating cupcakes and carving pumpkins with Briana and Pato. Here are some good photos from the evening. I'm not sure whether the last two photos (of Ava in the orange stripped dress) were from the same day but I just love them. She just look so happy and self-assured in these two photos and she has her crazy hair!
Here are some photos I took of Ava with Briana and Pato after Briana's lacrosse game in late October. We went to a local sandwich place and had a nice lunch after the game and Ava was loving it.
Here are some funny Ava photos when her hair was all over the place right after she woke up. She looks so funny walking around with her stuffed animals and her wild hair! Love her!
